Papad vegetable is one of the famous vegetables of Rajasthan. Papad curry is very easy to make, and it is made in a very short time. Its test is on mild sourness, because we use curd tomato in it. If you are making this, then make it only when you want to eat it, otherwise papad swells up after keeping it for a long time and its test changes. Material:-

  • Urad daal papad: 1
  • Oil: 3 teaspoons
  • Cumin seeds: 1 teaspoon
  • Bay leaf: 1
  • Mustard seeds: 1 teaspoon
  • Asafoetida (Asafoetida): 1 teaspoon
  • Onion puree: 1/2 cup
  • Tomato puree: 1/2 cup (2 tomatoes)
  • Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: 1 cup (as per taste)
  • Curd: 2 teaspoons
  • Garam masala: 1 teaspoon

Method of preparation of papad vegetable:-

1.First of all take any pan and put oil in it.

2. Then put cumin seeds, mustard seeds, asafoetida and bay leaves in it and roast them till they turn golden in color.

3. Then put onion puree in it and roast it.

4. When the onion is fried, add tomato puree to it.

5. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder and red chili powder to it and roast it for 5 minutes.

6. It takes some time to roast our spices, so till then I fry the papad.

7. Here I am frying the papad on the gas, if you want, you can fry it by adding a little oil in tawa or pan.

8. Here masala is also ready after roasting.

9. Now put some water in it and mix it.

10. Then add garam masala, curd and salt as per taste and cook it for 2-3 minutes.

11. Then put the papad in it after breaking it and also put the chopped coriander leaves and mix it and turn off the gas.

And our papad vegetable is ready, we will take it out in a serving bowl and our papad vegetable is ready.

  • If you are making any vegetable for the first time, then keep in mind that if you put mustard seeds in oil, then do not panic.
  • If you want, you can fry the papad in tawa or pan by adding a little oil.
