  • 1 small Onion (Chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Oil

HOW TO MAKE IT

1.First, gently toast the oats. After allowing it to cool, mix with some fenugreek seeds to create a powder.

2. Remove this powder and place it in a basin with a spoonful of each rice flour and semolina.

3.You may also add a teaspoon of wheat flour if you don’t have any rice flour. One tablespoon curd, grated ginger, asafoetida, black pepper, salt to taste, and asafoetida. Combine everything.

4. Add water as needed to the batter to achieve the desired consistency. After letting it sit for 15 to 20 minutes, stir in the finely chopped onions, green chilies, and curry leaves.

5.Turn the dish over, bake it briefly, and serve it with chutney or sambar.

  • For Oats Powder:

  • 1 cup carrot , finely chopped

HOW TO MAKE IT

For Oats Powder:

1.In a skillet, dry roast 2 cups of oats for about 5 minutes, or until they are golden brown.

2. After allowing it to cool, crush it into a powder.

For Fried Mixture:

1. Heat oil in a large pan over a medium temperature.

2. Stir in some mustard seeds and listen to them pop.

For Roasting Oats

  • 1 cup quick cooking oats – 100 grams
  • ½ teaspoon oil – any neutral oil

Other Ingredients

  • ¼ cup finely chopped onions – tightly packed
  • ¼ cup finely chopped carrots
  • ¼ cup finely chopped french beans
  • ¼ cup green peas – fresh or frozen
  • 7 to 8 curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon chana dal (split and husked bengal gram)
  • 1 teaspoon urad dal (optional)
  • 8 to 10 cashews or roasted peanuts
  • ½ teaspoon ginger – finely chopped
  • 1 or 2 green chilies – chopped
  • 1 to 2 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves (cilantro)
  • 1.25 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons oil – any neutral oil or coconut oil
  • salt as required

HOW TO MAKE IT

Roasting Oats

  1. In a pan, heat the oil. Add 1 cup of oats for rapid cooking.
  2. Toss and toast the oats over a low fire until they are crunchy.
  3. To prevent the oats from browning from the bottom, stir constantly. Oats don’t need to be browned. Really, all you need is a little sharpness.
  4. Oats should be removed and placed on a dish or tray.

HOW TO MAKE IT

1. Grind the semolina and oats. Including asafoetida.

2.Now add yoghurt, cumin seeds, red chilli powder, soda bicarbonate, ginger and water as necessary to produce a thick batter.
