1. Paneer Butter Masala Recipe

Let’s begin with our all-time favourite paneer butter masala. It’s a thick, creamy delicacy cooked in a flavorful sauce of tomatoes, onions, and spices. A magnificent supper may be made with paneer butter masala and steaming hot parathas or jeera rice.

Ingredients of Paneer Butter Masala

  • For frying Paneer:
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 cup Paneer cubes
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • For gravy:
  • 1/2 tbsp Oil
  • 2 cubes Butter
  • 1 Black cardamom
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 5 Green cardamom
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 1 tsp Garlic
  • 1/2 cup Onion, chopped
  • 1 cup Tomato, chopped
  • 7-8 nos Cashews
  • 1/4 tsp Green chilli, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Oil
  • 2 cubes Butter
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Kasoori methi
  • 1/2 tsp Honey
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 1 tbsp Cream
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder


  1. In a pan, heat the oil.
    1. Place paneer cubes on top. Season with salt and red chilli powder.
    1. Fry the paneer cubes in a pan.

Prepare the gravy:

  1. Reheat the oil in a pan. Add the butter.
  2. Now, combine the black cardamom, cinnamon, and green cardamom.
  3. Stir briefly before adding the ginger and garlic.
  4. Combine thoroughly.
  5. Combine the chopped onion and tomato. Mix once more.
  6. Puree the mixture with the cashews and green chilies.
  7. In a separate pan, heat the oil. Add the butter.
  8. Add the pureed mixture to the pan after the butter begins to flutter.
  9. Let to boil after mixing.
  10. Combine salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and black pepper in a mixing bowl. Combine thoroughly.
  11. Let the gravy to boil while you whisk in the kasoori methi and honey.
  12. To the boiling gravy, add fried paneer cubes. Combine thoroughly.
  13. Now stir in the milk well.
  14. Let it to come to a simmer before adding the cream and cardamom powder. Combine thoroughly.
  15. Serve immediately.

2) Dum Paneer Kali Mirch Recipe

This is a hot rendition of a delicious paneer curry with a dash of black pepper. Paneer pieces in a spice-rich sauce and much more are enough to make you drool. The way in which this recipe is prepared is also unique. It’s cooked in a dum, or pressure cooker, which preserves all of the curry’s aromatic flavours.

Ingredients of Dum Paneer Kali Mirch

  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 4 Cloves
  • 4 Green cardamoms
  • 1 inch piece Cinnamon
  • 1 Onion (fried till brown and blended with little water to make paste)
  • 1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 3 tbsp Yogurt
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder
  • 3/4 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Cream
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala
  • 250 gms Paneer
  • for garnishing Coriander
  • for garnishing Fresh mint leaves
  • 4 Green chillies


1.Heat the oil and add the cloves, cardamoms, and cinnamon until aromatic.

2.Now, add the onion paste and cook it well.

3.Combine the ginger, garlic, and green chilli paste. Saute. Mix in the yoghurt.

4.Cook and season with coriander, cumin, pepper, haldi, and red chilli powder.

5. Season with salt. Cook, then add the cottage cheese cubes, cream, and 1/2 cup water.

6.Seal the pan with foil and cover with a lid.

7.Reduce the heat to low and leave it to simmer for 15 minutes.

8.Now open it and continue cooking if you want to dry it out.

9.Check for salt and add more if necessary before serving garnished with coriander and mint leaves.

3) Makhani Paneer Biryani Recipe

If you want a rice meal with the benefits of paneer, make makhani paneer biryani at home. This is a nutritious meal with a lovely combination of veggies and spices. To acquire the appropriate flavour, cook it using the traditional dum technique. That will undoubtedly satisfy your growling stomach.

Ingredients of Makhni Paneer Biryani

  • 250 gms paneer cubes
  • 3 cups ghee/ clarified butter
  • 2 tbsp whole spices
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups fresh tomato puree
  • 2-3 Green chillies
  • 3-4 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp ginger (chopped), peeled
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin-coriander powder
  • 1 tsp tandoori masala
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup cashew paste
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • to taste salt
  • 6 cups basmati rice (cooked)
  • 1 cup onions, fried
  • 1/2 cup almond slivers
  • 1/2 cup mint and coriander, chopped


1.Ghee-sear the paneer cubes. Then season with salt and pepper to taste and leave aside.

2.Add the entire spices (cinnamon, cloves, black cardamon, green cardamon, black peppercorns, mace) to the same pan.

3.Add the chopped onions, green chilies, ginger garlic and cook for 2 minutes until the spices crackle.

4.Combine the powdered masalas with the tomato puree. Simmer for around 10 minutes.

5.Combine the cashew paste and cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

6.Add the paneer to the gravy and cook for 6 to 8 minutes on a low heat.

7.In a greased baking dish or handi, alternately layer the paneer and rice. Serve with fried onions, nuts, fresh mint, and coriander as garnish. Cover with foil or gently heat for 25 minutes. Serve immediately.

4) Dhaba Style Paneer Recipe

We generally get to enjoy dhaba-style paneer meals when travelling at eateries located on highways. A good gastronomic trail on vacation with family is a one-of-a-kind experience. Therefore, if you’re feeling nostalgic and want to recreate your vacation experience, try making this dhaba style desi paneer at home.

Ingredients of Dhaba-Style Paneer

  • 250 gms Paneer
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
  • 2 pinches Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 2 Cinamon Sticks
  • 3 Pods Crushed Cardamom
  • 5 Cloves
  • 6 Pepper Corns
  • 1 tsp Coriander Seeds
  • 2 Dry Red Chillies
  • 3 Finely Chopped Onion
  • 6 Cloves Finely Chopped Garlic
  • 3 Slit Green Chillies
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tbsp Kashmiri Lal Mirch Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 2 tbsp Gram Flour/Besan
  • 3 Grated Tomato
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • 1 tsp Kasuri Methi
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala


1.Cut 250 grammes of Paneer into cubes or any form you choose.

2.To marinate the paneer, combine 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder, 1/4 teaspoon garam masala, and 2 pinches turmeric powder in a mixing bowl.

3.Place a pan on medium heat and melt 2 tbsp ghee. Place the tossed Paneer in the pan and cook for 2 minutes on all sides.

4.Heat 2 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp ghee in a separate pan over medium heat.

5.Now stir in 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 bay leaf, 2 cinnamon sticks, 3 crushed cardamom, 5 cloves, 6 peppercorns, 1 tsp coriander seeds, and 3 dried red chilies.

6.Saute on low heat until fragrant. Sauté three finely chopped onions until golden.

7.After onion sautes thoroughly add 1 inch of grated ginger, 6 finely sliced garlic cloves, and roast everything.

8.Add 3 green chilli slits, 1 tbsp coriander powder, 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, and 2 tbsp gramme flour/ Besan.

9.Combine everything and cook over low heat until fragrant. Mix in 3 grated tomatoes and season with salt to taste.

10.Cover it and cook for 2 minutes, or until it begins to release oil. Next add 2 to 3 tbsp of water and simmer, stirring constantly.

11. Reduce the heat to low and add 1/2 cup of curd, stirring constantly for 2 to 3 minutes. Mix in 1 teaspoon crushed Kasuri methi and 1 teaspoon garam masala.

12.Add as much water as needed, stir thoroughly, and simmer for 2 minutes with the lid closed.

13.Add roasted Paneer to it and stir well and cook for 2 minutes. Turn off the heat and stir in the finely chopped coriander.

14.Paneer Masala is ready to serve and can be eaten.

5) Amritsari Paneer Bhurji Recipe

Ingredients of Amritsari Paneer Bhurji

  • 1 Tbsp Refined oil
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 piece Casia
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • A bit of Ginger, chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 Tomato, chopped
  • Little bit Sugar
  • 2 Green chilies, chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp Dry ginger powder
  • 200 gram Paneer
  • Fresh coriander leaves
  • 1/2 Lime


1.Saute refined oil, butter, cumin seeds, and casia in a pan.

2.To taste, add chopped onion, ginger, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Cook them together thoroughly.

3.Add a little more water and thoroughly combine.

4.Combine the diced tomato, green chilies, dry ginger powder, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Combine them thoroughly.

5.Crumble the paneer over the top of the mixture. Mix them thoroughly.

6.Combine the butter, fresh coriander leaves, and lime juice.

7.Serve immediately.

6) Palak Paneer Recipe

  • 1 cup Onion paste (boiled), grated
  • 1/2 cup Tomato, pureed

  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 2 nos Black cardamom (crushed)
  • 1 tbsp Cream


1.In a pressure cooker, boil spinach and crush it to produce palak puree.

2.Heat the oil in a skillet and cook the paneer cubes till golden brown.

3.Remove the paneer cubes and add cumin, then add bay leaf when it splutters.

4.Add the ginger, garlic, and onion paste when it begins to crackle. Cook until it becomes pinkish-brown.

5.Add salt, garam masala, coriander powder, and red pepper to taste. Stir until well combined.

6.Stir in the tomato puree over medium heat.

7.Sauté the spinach for 2-3 minutes.

8.Add the paneer cubes to the mix and flip it around a few times to thoroughly combine with the palak gravy.

9.Ladle some cream over the top, stir well, and serve hot.

7) Achari Paneer Paratha Recipe

If you don’t have much time for dinner, achari paneer parathas are a good option. Just make the filling using grated paneer, chopped ginger, garlic, and mixed achaar, as well as salt to taste. Knead the dough, roll it out, then stuff it with the filling to form parathas.

Ingredients of Achari Paneer Paratha

  • 1 Cup Wheat flour
  • Water to knead dough
  • 1 Tbsp Chopped ginger
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic
  • 1/2 Cup Grated paneer
  • 2 Tbsp achar
  • Salt to taste


1.First, knead some wheat flour with water to produce a dough. Let it to rest for 15 minutes.

2.In the meantime, prepare the filling by grating some paneer, adding minced ginger, garlic, one spoon of mixed achaar, and salt to taste.

3.Mix thoroughly until the flavours blend.

4.Roll out your dough and put it between the layers.

5.Close the dough and re-roll it out.
