Tandoori soya chaap Recipe – Soya Chaap is one of the famous recipes of India. You can make it well at home without oven. It takes a little time to make but it is nothing compared to its taste.
If you do not eat chicken, then you will like this chap very much. It takes us 40-45 minutes to make it. So let’s see how to make Soya Chaap and what are the things we will need to make it.
Ingredients for making Soya Chaap:-
To make batter:-
Soya chap:- 8-10
Curd – 50 grams
Cumin powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Chaat masala – 1/2 tsp
Kasturi methi (kasuri methi) – 1 teaspoon
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Mint powder – 1 teaspoon
Black pepper powder – 1/2 powder
Black salt – 1/2 teaspoon
Salt – 1/2 tsp (as per taste)
Cream – 2 spoons
Butter – 2 tbsp
Red color – optional
For ARC:-
Sliced Onion – 1
Chopped Coriander leaf
Lemon juice – 1/2 teaspoon
Green chili – 1
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Melted butter – 3-4 tbsp
Cream – 1 teaspoon
Recipe:-
1. First of all, take curd in a bowl and add cumin powder, chaat masala, kasoori methi, garam masala, mint powder, black pepper powder, butter, black salt and salt and mix it.
2. Then put butter and a little food color in it. Food color is optional, so you can not add it.
3. Now take out the soya chaap and wash it thoroughly.
4. Then cut it into two parts.
5. Then put it in the batter and mix it well.
6. Then put it in an iron rod.
7. Cook again on medium flame in the gas.
8. Then apply butter in it from all sides.
9. And again cook it from all sides. (After applying butter, the chaat gets cooked well)
10. Then cut it into small pieces.
11. Then put onion, coriander leaves and lemon juice in it and mix it.
12. Then put red chili powder, chaat masala, garam masala and cream in it and mix it well.
13. Then put butter in it.
14. Then mix those saree things well.
15. Then serve it in a plate with some onions and chutney.
Important Tips:-
- If you want, you can cook in a wooden one too, but when cooking on gas, there is a fear of burning the wood, so the chap does not cook well.
- After cooking the chaap once more, after applying ghee/butter, it starts to look even better.
- Do not cook the chap on high flame.
- If you want, you can also add mayonnaise to the chap.
