2. Grate some cauli. Grind the dal that has been soaked and the green chillies.

3. Combine the ground dal mixture and grated cauliflower. Coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, and garam masala should be added. Mix thoroughly.

4. Add gramme flour and rice flour. Add 2 tbsp of oil and gently knead.

Ingredients Required For Yogurt-Cashew Marinade:

  • Yogurt – 2 cups
  • Lemon Juice – 1 teaspoon
  • Ginger-Garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Besan – 3 tablespoons
  • Chaat Masala – 1 teaspoon
  • Garam Masala – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cashew paste – 1/2 – 1 cup (depending upon how thick you want the coating to be)


Take a bowl and fill it with yoghurt and lemon juice to start. Mix thoroughly. Now fill the bowl with all the additional ingredients and well mix. Start covering the cauliflower florets in the marinade after letting it sit for 40 to 45 minutes. 3. Combine maida, dahi, salt, water, and red chilli powder to form a smooth slurry. Ensure there are no lumps in it.

4. Next, take the florets and wrap them in bread crumbs before dipping them in the slurry. Continue until each floret is well covered.

5. Fry the florets in deep fat till golden brown.

6. Strain them and place them on a platter.

7. You can top your popcorn with this really simple homemade peri-peri powder to give it an additional kick. Even better, combine equal amounts of salt, black pepper powder, chaat masala, and red pepper flakes to create a spice blend.
