Rajasthan Pashu Mitra Yojana 2023: As stated in paragraph 185 of the budget proposal for 2023–2024, animal husbandry in Rajasthan is benefited from several door-level services provided by the Animal Husbandry Department, including tagging, vaccination, insurance, artificial insemination for the improvement of animal breeds, pregnancy tests, and other services. To do this, the state has launched the Pashu Mitra Yojana. Under the Rajasthan Pashu Mitra Yojana 2023, 5000 jobless young people who have received training as livestock assistants or veterinarians would be paid an honorarium determined on their performance. Those who will be known by the name Pashu Mitra as part of the plan.

Eligibility for Rajasthan Pashu Mitra

  1. A mill resident of the state of Rajasthan must be interested in applying for the Pashu Mitra Yojana (Trained Unemployed Livestock Assistant, Veterinarian).
  2. Candidates for Pashu Mitra must have a minimum of a B.V.Sc. from an accredited institution. Registration with the Rajasthan Veterinary Council and a degree from & A.Ch.
  3. Pashu Mitra, a veterinarian, is required to hold a two-year Animal Husbandry Diploma from an institution that is registered with or recognized by Rajuwas.
  4. Livestock Assistant out of a job, previously in charge of the Livestock Service Centre. They are also qualified for this program.

Selection Process for Pashumitra Scheme

  1. Pashumitra will have a dedicated workspace and access to regions where no departmental veterinary institute currently operates or has approval. The Animal Husbandry Department’s website currently has a list of the veterinary institutes approved in the department broken down by district and institution.
  2. The Joint Director, Animal Husbandry Department/Deputy Director, Kuchaman City for the district/location where Pashumitra wishes to work will receive applications in the specified Form-A.
  3. A copy of the letter confirming that the applicant is a native of Rajasthan, a copy of the student’s grade report from the 12th grade, and the certifications B.V.SC. & A.Ch. a copy of your diploma or marksheet from the State Veterinary Council, a copy of your registration certificate as a livestock assistant from Rajuwas, and your marksheet for your two-year animal husbandry diploma from a recognised university. It must have a copy attached.
  4. For the purpose of choosing Pashumitra, preference will be given to residents of the village for which the district’s application has been submitted.
  5. If more than one applicant applies for a position, the winner will be chosen on the basis of merit using a score of 50% in senior high school and 50% in the animal husbandry diploma.
  6. The veterinarian will be given precedence if a veterinary/livestock assistant application is submitted at one location for Pashu Mitra selection.
  7. Based on the candidates’ dates of birth, the applicant who is older in age and has the same marks will be chosen.
  8. A committee headed by District Joint Director/Deputy Director, Kichaman City, will oversee the selection process. The committee will be organized as follows.
  9. Three possibilities for a site or area must be listed in the application in addition to the authorized veterinary offspring in the Animal Husbandry Department. The work area will be decided by a committee assembled by the District Joint Director.
  10. The District Joint Director and Nodal Officer may agree upon a work area such that there is no vacancy instead of an alternative.
  11. At the directorate level, the number of Pashumitra will be determined per district.
  12. The Director of Animal Husbandry will need to approve the list of chosen Pashumitra (veterinarian) and Pashumitra (livestock assistant) applicants broken down by district, village, and educational level.
  13. The responsible District Joint Director/Deputy Director Kuchaman City will issue the order for the selection of animal buddies in Form B upon receipt of the approved list from the Directorate.

Duties of Animal Friend

This program is being run to provide departmental program advantages right to cattle rearers’ front doors. This is entirely for supplying self-employment; as a result, work is anticipated to be completed with a full sense of service for the benefit of cattle rearers. The applicant will not be eligible for government employment going forward under this plan, nor will he make such a claim.
