The state government issued an order on Wednesday evening and imposed a complete ban on transfers from January 15. Administrative Reforms and Coordination Department issued an order banning the transfers.

In the order issued by the department, it has been said that in supersession of all the orders issued earlier regarding the ban on the transfer of state officers and employees, a complete ban is imposed on the transfer of all officers and employees of the state government from January 15. However, transfers of urgent nature can be done after the permission of the Chief Minister. These orders will also apply to all the corporations, boards and autonomous institutions of the state.

It has also been said in the order that through the circular issued on March 23, 2022, instructions have been issued regarding not issuing posting orders to the personnel in the transfer ban period, waiting for orders or by other means, to the vacant posts of their choice. . Ensuring compliance of this circular, all ACS, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries have been directed that if such a case comes, it will happen.

For the first time there was exemption on transfers for so long

It may be noted that the state government had lifted the ban on transfers on May 30 last year. After about seven months, now the ban on transfers has been imposed. It is believed that for the first time transfers are being missed for so long. During this, thousands of transfers took place in different departments. Most of the transfers took place in the education and health departments. It is being said that by January 15, more lists of transfers may come.

Probably ban on transfers due to budget session

Actually, the budget session of the assembly is going to start in the state from January 23. It is believed that for this reason the transfers have been banned.

A large number of transfers have taken place in different departments during the exemption from the ban on transfers. During this, ministers and legislators were transferred to different departments on the basis of their desire. It was also being said that the ban on transfers was lifted to please the MLAs.
