- In a cup that can be microwaved, pour the batter. My cup held 14 ounces. You need enough headroom so that the cake can rise without spilling.
- In the centre of the batter, spread hazelnut chocolate or add miniature chocolate chips. No need to press it down or sink it in the batter—just drop it in the middle. When it cooks, it does it on its own!:)
- Set the cup on top of a paper towel in the microwave to collect any spilled batter in the event that your mug cake overflows.
