Age Limit
Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years.

Education Qualification
The educational qualification for SSC Junior Hindi Translator and Senior Hindi Translator Recruitment 2023 has been kept as follows.
A master’s degree from an accredited institution in Hindi with English as a required or optional subject or as the medium of instruction for degree-level exams;
or
A master’s degree from an accredited institution in English with Hindi as a required or optional subject or as the examination language at the degree level;
or
A master’s degree from an accredited university in a field other than Hindi or English, with Hindi as the medium of instruction and English as an elective or required subject or as the language of an upper-division test;
or
A master’s degree from a reputable university in a topic other than Hindi or English, with English as the language of instruction and Hindi as a degree-level subject or as the language of examination;
or
Two years of experience translating from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Offices, or a Master’s degree from a recognised university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level
Educational Qualification for SHT
A master’s degree from an accredited institution in Hindi with English as a required or optional subject or as the medium of instruction for degree-level exams;
or
A Master’s degree from an accredited institution in English with Hindi as a required or optional course or as the examination language at the degree level;
or
A master’s degree from an accredited institution in a topic other than Hindi or English, with Hindi as the medium of instruction and English as an elective or required subject or as the language of an upper-division test;
or
A master’s degree from a reputable university in a topic other than Hindi or English, with English as the language of instruction and Hindi as a degree-level subject or as the language of examination;
or
Master’s degree from an accredited university in any field other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as required or optional subjects, or with any of the two as the examination’s language and the other as a degree-level requirement.
and
Three years of experience translating from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Offices, including Government of India Undertakings, or a recognised diploma or certificate in that field
