Appointment will be given at 31 stations of Jodhpur Railway Division this month.

DRM Pankaj Kumer Singh said that the process of appointment of 31 selected station ticket booking agents of Jodhpur Railway Division has been started under the initiative of the Railways to provide employment to the 10th pass youth. The selected agent is empowered to deduct tickets on commission basis at the railway station. Due to which they will get jobs and passengers will also get relief from congestion.

In this regard, Senior DCS of Jodhpur Division Jitendra Meena told that the tenure of the candidates selected for ticket cutting will be of 3 years. During this, they will get commission amount according to the ticket deducted per passenger. He told that if the tenure of the agent is not satisfactory, he can be removed prematurely. And if the tenure is satisfactory, the selection can be done for the next three years after completing all the desired process.
