Government Scholarship – Top Class Education Scheme for Scheduled Caste Students: The objective of this scheme is to recognize and promote quality education among students belonging to Scheduled Castes (Scheduled Castes) by providing full financial assistance. This scheme will cover scheduled caste students for further studies from class 12th onwards. The scheme will operate in all the institutions notified by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment for the financial year 2021-22 to 2025-26. The scholarship, once awarded, will continue till the completion of the course, subject to satisfactory performance of the student.

Top Class Education Scheme for SC Student Eligibility – Who Can Apply?
Those SC students whose total annual family income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 8.00 lakh and will be eligible for scholarship under the scheme to the extent of the number of scholarship (slots) after obtaining admission in the prescribed course full time in any notified institute as per the common selection criteria prescribed by the concerned institute. allotted to the institute for the course.
Thirty percent (30%) of the slots allotted to the Institute shall be reserved for eligible Scheduled Caste girl students as per their mutual merit. In the absence of sufficient number of girl students, slots may be transferred to eligible boys as per their mutual merit.
Government Scholarships for SC Students: Number of Scholarships
The total number of scholarships for the period 2021-22 to 2025-26 will be limited to 21,500 (4100 for 2021-22, 4200 for 2022-23, 4300 for 2023-24, 4400 for 2024-25 and 2025- 4500 for 26 ) )
Scholarship amount for Scheduled Caste (SC) students
Scholarships will be awarded to SC students seeking admission in scheduled institutions to meet the requirements of (i) full tuition fee and non-refundable fee (for private sector there will be a limit of Rs.2.00 lakh per annum per student) . Institute for Commercial Pilot Training and Type Rating Courses for Private Sector Flying Clubs and Rs. 3.72 lakhs per student per annum) (ii) Educational allowance of Rs. 86,000 in the first year of study and Rs. 41,000 in each subsequent year, to take care of living expenses, books and stationery, computers/laptops of reputed brands along with accessories like UPS and printers etc.
