EWS Scholarship Yojana 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Under the EWS Scholarship Scheme 2023, the candidate is required to follow the following Criteria
In the year 2021, economically backward candidates of the general category who have obtained more than 80 percent marks in the secondary examination from the Rajasthan Board will be eligible.
EWS category is mentioned in the examination form.
To apply, the student must be a native of Rajasthan.
Economically backward meritorious students of general category who have secured 80 percent or more marks in class 10th will be eligible for the scholarship. This scholarship will be given for 2 years i.e. in class 11th and class 12th only on regular studies in the school.

EWS Scholarship Yojana 2023 Essential Guidelines

Scholarships given as a result of secondary / admission will be given for the next year only when the concerned candidate related to further higher studies (studying as a regular student in the school) succeeds in the first attempt itself and obtains at least 55 percent marks in aggregate. .
The above EWS scholarship will be given to the student on the condition that he/she is pursuing further studies in recognized institutions.
If a student leaves his/her study, then the scholarship will be stopped from the date he/she leaves the institution.
Payment of scholarships will be done online in the bank account of the student. Students should necessarily mention their bank name, bank account number, IFSC code number and their mobile number and email ID in the form.
The rules related to economically backward classes set by the state government will remain effective.
Students will have to attach the EWS certificate (Session 2020-21) with the form after getting it certified from the competent authority directed by the state government.
Scholarship form and necessary documents will be accepted online only. Students are not to send separate forms and documents (hard copy) to the board office.
In this scheme, only the students of category-1 entered in the board examination (class-10) will be included.
The candidates of this scheme will be selected on the basis of final result after scrutiny.
