Bengali Style Fish Curry Recipe – Fish is a Bengali dish and it is liked not only in Bengal but by all the people of the country and abroad. Fish lives in water, so it contains more iron. If you get sick or have weakness, the doctor tells you to eat fish instead of chicken. That’s why today I have brought a very spicy, spicy and tasty recipe for you called Fish Curry. Fish gets cooked in very less time. So let’s see how to make it and what are the things we need to make it….
Material:-
To Fry
Rohu Fish (Rohu Machli): 500 grams
Ginger Garlic pest: 2 teaspoons
Turmeric powder: 1 teaspoon
Chilli powder: 1 teaspoon
Oil: 150 grams
To Make Gravy
Cumin seeds: 1/2 teaspoon
Bay leaf: 2
Chopped onion: 1
Tomato (Tomato pureed): 2
Slitted chili: 2
Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Kashmiri red chili powder: 1 teaspoon
Coriander leaves: 1/2 cup
Salt: as per taste
Fish Preparation Method:-
1. First of all, wash the fish well and take it in one crore. And put ginger garlic paste (1 teaspoon), red chili, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder and a little salt in it.
2. Then mix it well and keep it covered for 10 minutes.
3. After 10 minutes, heat the oil on the gas and let it cook for 3 minutes on medium flame.
4. Then turn it over and cook on the other side for 3 minutes. When done on both the sides, take it out and fry the saree fishes in the same way.
5. Then put cumin and bay leaves in the same oil.
6. Then put chopped onions in it and fry it for a while.
7. Then put the rest of the ginger and garlic paste in it and fry it for 2 minutes.
8. Then roast it by adding coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, Kashmiri red chili powder and salt as per taste.
9. Then here I am adding chopped tomatoes. And roast it for 4-5 minutes.
10. Then put water in it according to your choice. (If you like more gravy then add a little more water)
11. Then put the chopped chillies and leave the gravy to boil.
12. After boiling, put the fried fish in it and cook it for 5 minutes.
13. Our fish has started boiling, now turn off the gas.
14. Then put coriander leaves on top of it for garnish.
And our fish is completely ready.
Suggestion:-
- Put all the spices in the fish half-and-half and we will use the rest to make gravy.
- The oil should not be too cold, otherwise the fish will not become crispy and the oil should not be too hot, otherwise the fish will burn from above and will not cook from inside, so heat the oil once, then reduce the flame to medium and fry the fish. Fry |
- Add less salt in the gravy because I had added salt while frying.
