Applicant Eligibility for Bus Sarathi Scheme

Bus Sarathi Work

  1. Bus charioteers will issue passenger/luggage tickets to the passengers boarding the bus of the scheduled schedule, after receiving the amount according to the passenger fare amount fixed by the corporation. Will be able to get DSA from all booking houses. And will maintain passenger way bill by entering in ETIM. The revenue collected in the warehouse office coming along the route will be deposited in the corporation fund, ETIM Ticket/Beg etc. It will be mandatory for the bus charioteer to follow the orders/instructions issued by the Corporation from time to time. For this, the bus charioteer will have to arrange for the driver’s license, badge and prescribed uniform required under the Motor Vehicles Act at his own expense and it will be mandatory to put a name plate on the uniform.
  2. The bus will try to acquire passenger load and maximum passenger load from the designated bus stand on the Sarathi route.
  3. If the operators do not comply with the prescribed responsibilities on the route, the related rules defined earlier will apply to the bus charioteer.
